Embracing Who We Are and Our Loved Ones-Mental Health Checkup - #8
Tonight on the Mental Health Check Up, Captain Kaye, Neoplasmic, The Director, and The Streamin Demon reflect on why it's so important to accept who we are and be thankful for those who have shaped us!
Hello, Everybody! The Streamin Demon here to welcome you to my long-awaited comeback! I’m joined by Mike, Keona, and Josh to discuss our identities, what the site means to us, and the importance of those we love and how they can have a paramount influence on us!
More specifically, I talk about how important my Autism identity is, as it’s something that I have been running away from almost my entire life. But now, I’m fully embracing it, and let me tell you; it has given me a greater sense of purpose and love for myself than I have ever felt!
Mike talks about how he wants to do nothing but continue running this very website and how much better this “job” is than the one he currently has!
Keona mentions how difficult it has been for him to live with a recent injury and how it’s deprived him of the ability to go out socially. Here’s hoping he recovers soon!
Joshua discuss how losing his grandfather and all the memories he has of him, leading us all to talk about our grandparents, how he and Kristal have been getting by, having to return to a job he also hates, the making of his new film and other projects he is currently pursuing, and his current all time favorite movie, West Side Story!
That’s all for this installment of Mental Health Checkup! Hang in there, believe in yourself, get any support that can help, and Happy Pride Month!
Welcome to the latest episode of the Mental Health Checkup, wherein Captain Kaye, Neoplasmic, and the Streamin’ Demon are joined by BioShocker for the first time as they reminisce about past responsibilities and current opportunities! While 2022 has been a stressful year for many reasons, our crew still looks ahead to the future and finds the silver lining in the storm cloud of this life. Remember, if you’re ever dealing with difficulties, you are never alone. That’s the main message we want to send with this podcast.
