Trainwreck: Woodstock '99 Review - Renegade Marquee #25
As a tie-in to the Rise of Squall of Limp Bizkit miniseries on Renegade Jukebox, Captain Kaye, Super Saiyan Death Metal God, and Haley review the Netflix docuseries Trainwreck: Woodstock '99!
What’s going on, everyone? This is your Captain speaking, and yeah, I know we’re well over a month late covering this docuseries. We figured that it only made sense to talk about this while we were working our way through Limp Bizkit’s discography, as Woodstock ‘99 was arguably the highlight (for better or worse) of their career.
Trainwreck: Woodstock ‘99
If you’re just learning about this festival for the first time, Trainwreck: Woodstock ‘99 does a much better job than the HBO documentary released last year when it comes to accurately portraying the events of that infamous weekend in a visual medium. My co-hosts and I do not hold back our feelings towards that unfocused, agenda-driven anti-metal hit piece on the podcast. The Netflix doc is 3 episodes, and features a variety of interviews from the founders of the festival, on site journalists, staff, and attendees.
